I did a little music video for Twiggy, just because I want all my doggies to have one and it felt wrong that she didn't. It wasn't her adoption video so had nothing to do with getting her adopted - she's already adopted. I just wanted her to have one to document her progress.

She goes on trial adoption on Sunday so we got her hobo bag ready today.

New collar, kibble, treats and some toys. We will miss the lovely girl

Twiggy's put on some weight but we're still trying to put a little more weight on her. Last night the doggies got a treat :) They've been having chicken wings the last few nights - which they love, but last night they got extra yummy food. ( Read more... )

It's my second week in a new job so not many updates alas, but Twiggy's doing well. She had her stitches out today. Dan didn't put her leash on today and she ran straight to the back of the Jeep to wait to be let in. He also wound the window down on the journey so that she could stick her head out a little bit and enjoy all the sights, sounds and smells. ( Read more... )

Twiggy didn't know what to do with an antler the first time we gave her one but now she loves them. She's been chewing on one for ages tonight but then it was Hoover's turn ... but clearly Twiggy's addicted ...



She's also showing signs of a pretty good beg. We didn't ask her to do it because she's recovering from her desexing but she must have remembered when Dan taught her the other day because she offered up a really nice-looking beg today.

We practised leaving Twiggy outside on her own today. She was out there for a couple of hours. She didn't bark but whined a little and banged on the dog door. Then I put her in her crate and practised going outside. She panicked but I was back before she could break out again.

When Dan went out, I put her in her crate and she was fine - probably because I was still at home. We'll keep working on it! ( Read more... )

Twiggy went to hang out in the car park of dog school today where she met Epic, Juniper, Jazz and a few other dogs. Then she visited Kuma the Akita and had her photo taken by Sophie :)
