Juniper the Foster: Day #1 in care

koalathebearWe went to pick up Juniper today from Anne, who had been kind enough to temp care Juniper while her vaccinations took effect.
Here she is at Anne's, playing with fluffies:

She has met the dogs and got along well with them. Dan has given her the Welcome Bath that all fosters receive upon arrival into our home.
Poor thing is a bit of a basketcase though - while very friendly with dogs, she is extremely timid around humans. We can't even get her back in the house if she's been in the yard and she cringes as if she's being beaten if you try to put a leash on her or pick her up. Reminds me of Dodge in his early days
We are just leaving her to get used to the place before we try to do anything with her although I am charging up the clicker as it seems to work well with timid dogs and just getting her used to the fact that a nice treat follows a click.
She's a lovely dog ... I haven't needed to leash or crate her. She has been very calm and well-behaved inside and has been chilling out in the dog bed.
