LaWanda asked me to make a video for her foster dog Liberty, a deaf cattle dog who has been in care quiet a long time.
Just like Matilda, I had a very definite idea of what song I wanted to use for her. I wanted to use 'Freedom Calling' by Colin Hay - loved the freedom connection and I had ideas for the text going through my head.
So here it is:
Alas, by the time I got to the end ... I was happy with the way the video was put together but I didn't really think that it was going to make people want to adopt her ... So I did a second video:
As I expected, LaWanda liked the 'Dreams' version better: "Someone that feels sorry for Libby won't treat her like she needs to be treated is the only reason that I don't like the first one as much. The second one will appeal to more the right kind of owner."
And I agree.
