12 days in care and Monkey's doing so well.

He's been coming to pick me up after work and is getting lots of pats from dog-friendly colleagues

He has a lovely off switch and chills out nicely in the house.

He observes the fairly low partitions we put in place to give him gradually increasing access to the house. Too much access increases the risk of toileting inside. He's not quite mastered the dog door yet and is having about one accident a day (peeing) but is actually doing really well.

Like the other dogs he could totally jump the partition or knock it over ....

But he's being so good

And he's so incredibly cute

We had a little scare with him the other day - he threw up at 3am and then went off his food and got listless so we whisked him off to the vet.

He was cleared for parvo and also had an x-ray to make sure there were no obstructions. $330 he was fine and we were relieved.

He's very dog-friendly and chilled around other dogs.

He's very calm around small children, too which is lovely to see. Not boisterous at all.

Outraged that he was locked outside
