Dan's description says it all: "Foster dog's first day of unsupervised activity: Grabbed a small bottle of acrylic paint from a bookshelf, chewed it open on the (dogs') day bed. And then he stole a loaf of bread from the kitchen table and devoured it outside. Possibly with Dodge's help. Inspector Javert is on the case."



I said: "This was going to be our first foster dog that didn't have any issues!!!" :)

Dan said:

"Other ways he has expressed his feelings over the past few days:
- Dug a Dodge-sized hole in the yard
- Pushed past the "No Foster Dog" barricade to the lounge
- Was caught leaping around on the sofa with no regard for the dogs-can-only-go-on-this-side rule
- Discovered the old bean bag chairs behind the sofa and added them to his leaping routine
- Combined his dirty paws with the shower and left muddy paw prints everywhere

...he's enjoying himself."

In other news, Dan took him for a 45 minute stroll around Civic where he saw lots of people so we were able to cross off more from his socialisation checklist. He was disinterested in the fake sheep but growled at the dog statues because he didn't know what they were :)

The dogs of the homeless people barked at him so he barked back but at least he didn't initiate it.

This weekend he'll have a playdate with Jazz and former foster Juniper and he'll also meet a baby! :)
