Goodbye Cupcake, hullo Sunny

Cupcake's owners formalised her adoption a few days ago and with it came a name change. She is now Sunny!

We always knew a name change was on the cards.

1. A lot of people want to name their own dog of course
2. We copped a lot of flak when we named her Cupcake in the first place :)

Some names remain special in your heart and in the same way Nina will always be Nutmeg to me, I suspect Sunny will always be Cupcake to me, the little stray Kelpie puppy (who was supposed to be a 6 month old boy puppy!) who even though I had promised Dan we weren't going to be fostering for the rest of the year, we somehow ended up with anyway ... She was my 'birthday' foster dog and will always be precious to me :)

Her new mums adore her and she's already having a blast



















Looks like her crate-training has stuck


And she has this collar to remind her of Cupcake, the little Teacup Kelpie :)


When I told Lea and Cheryl her adoption had been confirmed, I said: "Goodbye Cupcake my little red and tan Kelpie puppy :'("
