Meet Miller. He's a 6 month old Border Collie Cross who is in temp care with us at present here in Canberra.
He is of course available to adopt: http://www.workingdogrescue.com.au/2013/06/miller-male-border-collie-cross-puppy-10-weeks-old-new-south-wales/
Little Miller was adopted by a very loving family a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, his Adopted Grandmother was hospitalised last week and the family were unable to keep him because of pressures from extended family.
We are trying to find him a new home in Canberra to save him another Long Journey, but if we cannot, he will go back to his original loving foster carer Shelley who is very, very happy to have him back.
Miller was originally dumped along with his littermates at Tamworth Pound. His whole life, he has grown up with young children and dogs and is a very friendly and happy little dog. He loves people, gets along beautifully with other dogs.
He waits for his food and can sit, drop and rollover. He is also house-trained and travels well in a car. He also walks well on a loose leash.
He was not crate-trained, but we put him in a crate last night and he was fine and he slept quietly all night in his crate until we let him outside to toilet this morning.

Little Miller when we brought him home - yes, Hoover is photobombing

The doggies all had their breakfast this morning and as he did with dinner, Miller sat alongside the other dogs with his food dish and ate his food, leaving them alone.

It's a lovely sunny day today, so the dogs have enjoyed a play in the backyard.
Happy Little Hoover :)

"Where is the treat, human?"

Surveying his dominion

"Hullo! I'm Miller. There's a Weird-Looking Little Dog behind me!"

"The dogs keep coming ..."

Poor pup was a bit unsettled and paced a bit when he first arrived - all new dogs, do ... but he has settled down and seems to have a lovely off-switch. He's happy to just chill out in the dog bed when playtime is over

He is pretty quiet - not very vocal so far.
He's also very affectionate and smoochy
