Frida did well last night, she squeaked at me at 2am and then again at 6am to be taken outside to be toileted. She was very prompt both times about toileting and didn't dawdle. She also went right back to sleep after I put her back in her crate. She's so little - it's like holding a little kitten in your arms as I carry her back through the house to her crate which we have put up on a basket next to the bed so that she is near us and can see us. Mostly she's quiet, but sometimes she cries and seems to panic a little. I follow the rules and ignore her but put my fingertips into the crate so that she can sniff and lick them and know that she's not alone in the dark.
Dan says she ate well today - finishing all of her kibble. She also had her first chicken wing - it took her ages to eat because her teeth are so tiny but she loved it and chewed down with great gusto. Her little tummy was so fat and round when she was done, it was very cute. I spent ages outside with her afterwards because I was worried about the impending toileting ... She was good tonight, though. Only two very mini-wees inside, otherwise she's been toileting outside. Some pictures from today.
Dan says Frida was very rambunctious and noisy today - all that activity apparently tired her out because she then proceeded to conk out.

Cute photos of Frida and Hoover sharing a dog bed. Dan will be mad I put so many variants up, but they're all such cute variations :)

Awwww

Hoover really is a saint, putting up with his pesky little foster sister :)
Tonight, we worked some more on Frida's 'sit' and I am luring her into some very gentle spins. She is offering up shake hands/high five quite naturally so I might work on that a bit more to see how that goes. She looks very cute when she sits on command though. I like her eye contact and how steady her gaze is. Just like Elbie, there's so much mischief and intelligence going on in those little eyes.
She was naughty and managed to break out of the Bunnings compost panel puppy pen that Dan made for her so he had to put three loops on the pen to keep her locked in. Why does it not surprise me that she's that smart? Like I've said before, she's the first dog we've had who has taught herself how to use our dog door!!
