Not sure how he felt about Dan's Gummi Bear light
Martyn was very apologetic about this gift saying, explaining that he had purchased it before we'd told him about Takeshi's name change.
Dan bought me a new network drive
He networked it as the T:drive and named it Takeshi given that Takeshi was losing his original name. He kept teasing me though saying that he'd call it the J:drive and call it Jack, though haha.
Takeshi kept getting underfoot when Martyn was trying to prepare Christmas lunch so was sent outside temporarily so that he didn't accidentally get his snout in the oven :)
He found Christmas a little over-stimulating. He usually has a few naps a day and yesterday he was so excited, he didn't nap at all and so was pretty hyperactive and crazy by the afternoon - too many new sights, sounds and people. He was quite mouthy, barky and generally quite bratty. When we got home we had to crate him for around half an hour so that he could regain his off-switch. He was totally fine after that and back to his well-behaved self.
He showed up twice on the 4lyfe facebook page on Christmas day. Here and here. So cute!
We went to visit Lyn and Jason today and their daughters Ani and Zoe who were visiting Canberra and had requested a play with a dog. They drew these gorgeous "get well Takeshi" cards a while back when Takeshi was so sick and we were doing fund-raising for his vet bills
They were soooooooooooo delighted to meet with Hoover and particularly Takeshi. Like most of his existing fan club, they said: "He'll always be Takeshi to me!" :D I've taken to calling him Takeshi-Jack or Jackeshi!

Hard to tell that Ani is scared of dogs and was actually pretty terrified of Takeshi whens he first met him

The girls wanted to "walk" the dogs on leash around the backyard :)
After visiting with Zoe and Ani, we went to see Kylie to pick up some Christmas presents for Takeshi that had been donated by 4lyfe fans. He was pretty happy about it
