Dan's description says it all: "Foster dog's first day of unsupervised activity: Grabbed a small bottle of acrylic paint from a bookshelf, chewed it open on the (dogs') day bed. Rookie's post desexing blues
Poor Rookie's been a trooper. He's been wearing his cone without complaint, still trying to toilet himself even though he can't fit out the dog door with his cone on. He even sits quiet and still so that we can take the cone off and put it back on again. I think he was in quite a bit of pain on Thursday and yesterday we noticed that he looked very red and bruised. We picked up our latest foster dog from Gundagai Pound today.
We should probably call him Marky Mark because he seriously marks everything ... We debated names - Paddington, Titan, Goliath (because he is chunky looking), but in the end Dan decided on Rookie because he is a lovely dog but has zero training and a lot to learn :) ( Read more... )
