Smudge & Nutmeg: Day 9
Smudge and Nutmeg are recovering very well from parvo. They are on antibiotics but their energy levels are excellent, their appetites are good and their stool is solid. Unfortunately, they appear to have been exposed to kennel cough at the pound so we are treating that. On its own, kennel cough is usually not very serious but these are young, vulnerable puppies so we need to take care.
As you can see, their spirits are in no way affected by the kennel cough and this is their reaction to Manuka honey - which they have come to love.
They are doing some very cute sits on cue and while we went backwards with toilet-training immediately after they got back from the vet, they seem to be on the mend.
